About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Training Coordinator, who can coordinate training for all sites and all departments, in order to ensure Wellocks compliance to legislative and other requirements.  

What you will do

Process

  • Develop, deliver and evaluate an effective training process which meets the needs of the business
  • Be responsible for the total induction process ensuring all new recruits settle into the business quicky and are effective in their roles
  • Ensure online training is assigned and completed in conjunction with the relevant departmental managers
  • Ensure mandatory training is completed in conjunction with the relevant departmental managers

Training delivery

  • Facilitate SOP, food safety and allergen training as required
  • Conduct practical training as required including manual handling and banksman
  • Deliver relevant raining as required following incident investigations or audit non-compliance
  • Responsible for securing training bookings with external providers

Measurement

  • Ensure an accurate training matrix and records are maintained for all employees at all times that are regularly reviewed to reflect ongoing business change and developments
  • Ensure all training activity is monitored, evaluated and audited by processing KPI’s to improve business and employee performance
  • Achievement of required KPI’s and relevant targets. Identify trends and opportunities for improvements and develop associated plans to deliver these
  • Work with the key stakeholders to ensure that all processes, records, training activity, systems and KPI’s support the delivery of the People Plan and our legal compliance obligations
  • Effective utilisation of the apprenticeship levy and understanding of the training budget and spend

Continuous Improvement  

  • Improve, or develop new, training processes, systems and courses to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Implement, deliver and support a sustainable apprenticeship offering that supports the People Plan with enhanced career development, business performance and employee engagement
  • Carry out regular training needs analysis with key stakeholders and identify proposed solutions

People  

  • Work with key stakeholders and influence as necessary to develop people capability and implement change that results in improved performance
  • Coordinate, monitor and mentor employees completing external studies or courses
  • Liaise with external providers as required, developing partnerships for effectivecollaboration and delivery

  • Excellent understanding of teaching techniques
  • The ability to motivate learners
  • Effective research skills
  • Good analysis and reporting skills using KPI Dashboards
  • Full clean driving licence to travel to transport hubs
