Technical Administrator, Greenford in London, in this critical role you will ensure our technical service systems and due diligence all comply with Food Safety Standards such as BRC and customer requirements.
Technical Administrator role
Working as part of a small technical team, you will be maintaining several systems, such as the raw material specification system, risk assessment system, third party product specs and HACCP are approved, updated and accurate. Looking at new suppliers and ensuring we have all the correct internal procedures documented and that current supplier questionnaires are correct and filed correctly.
You will liaise with NPD to prepare new product specs accurately and within the agreed deadlines, along with checking the analysis certificates of conformance for raw materials are sent out to suppliers with the correct risk assessments. You will be implementing and maintaining the companies labelling system, whilst carrying out monthly traceability exercises and internal auditing.
Technical Administrator Skills
Building on your recently gained Food Science degree you will be great at organising your time as there can be a lot to get through some days. Great attention to detail and excel skills will be needed in this role along with your ability to have great communication skills to influence and guide those around you to ensure we are following the correct procedures. You will have training on the job and will look at your own training pathway to ensure you are building on your degree knowledge.
