We are looking to recruit a Compliance Administrator on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours per week) to join our Technical Team based at our Hull site.

Reporting to the Central Compliance Manager, the Administrator will coordinate structural systems to enable compliance to BRC, retailer, customer and third party audits.  You will structure departmental schedules and activity.  You will collate data for the department to enable strategy, decision making and corrective action requests.  You will support the management of the quality manual.  You will manage schedules and general administration.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:


  • Support BRC and third party preparation and coordination (inc RSPO)
  • To maintain administration systems that control compliance activity
  • To trend and report on audit status and activity
  • To manage administration of site compliance schedules
  • To trend data
  • To Assist in data packs and reports
  • To administrate general activity

Food Safety Systems

  • To assist in maintenance of the HACCP plan
  • To assist in the maintenance of TACCP
  • To assist in the maintenance of Allergens
  • To assist in the maintenance of risk assessments


  • Work within the departmental annual budget
  • Travel to Jacksons sites will be required
  • Support the Central compliance managers initiatives

You will need to meet Jackson’s Bread cultural aspirations and demonstrate leadership skills.  You must be a great communicator at all levels and be great at organising and ensuring priorities are recognised and met.  You will have the ability to form strong proactive working relationships across your contact group and be able to influence without full authority.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours per week. Whilst this role will generally work across Monday to Friday, an element of flexibility is required from time to time in order to meet the needs to the business.

Jacksons is part of William Jackson Food Group, a sixth-generation family business founded by William Jackson when he opened his first shop in Hull in September 1851. Today we have a portfolio of five food businesses in distinct, yet complimentary market areas, employing over 2,000 people.
