Pensions Administrator, full time, Hull, in this key role you will ensure that our pension records and pension benefits are correctly administered for members of the Company’s Defined Benefit (DB) pension scheme and support communication and documentation of the Company’s WorkSave pension scheme.

Pension Administrator key responsibilities

Working in a small pension team you will be accountable for maintaining member records in our bespoke database ensuring that the details are stored accurately and in line with legislation.  You will assist with the scheme administration and the archiving of data.  A main task will be manually calculating benefit entitlements and communicating this to the individual member.  You will ensure that all associated paperwork for our employee’s WorkSave scheme is administered efficiently and correctly. 

Pension Administrator skills

  • Ideally, you will have worked in a pensions team and have a working knowledge of DB schemes within a regulatory environment or a willingness to learn and attend courses to gain an understanding of the pension environment.  Full training will be given.
  • You will have had previous work experience in an office environment where the checking of work is completed accurately and in a timely fashion, coupled with the ability to write bespoke letters using the information gained from a variety of sources.
  • You will need to have competent IT skills which must include a working knowledge of excel and word, be numerate and articulate and able to demonstrate particular attention to detail and accuracy in the approach to your work.
  • You will need the ability to communicate at all levels, and to convey complex information in a clear and concise way
  • As we are a small team, you will have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

This is a full-time role, which will be office/home based.  Our office is based in Derringham Street, Hull, where free parking is available.
