Customer Service Executive (Temporary), Hull
In this integral role you will be responsible for processing sales orders, handling customer order queries and liaising with the necessary departments to ensure all orders are accurately organised and delivered to the agreed customer timescales.
If you have strong administration skills and you’re eager to gain experience within a growing business, this is an ideal opportunity.
This is a temporary role that we anticipate to last around 9 months, but this may be extended according to the needs of the business. The requirements of role include some weekend working and holiday cover on a rota basis.
· Taking ownership of all customer orders, inputting these and resolving any queries or issues that may arise.
· Delivering excellent customer service at all times and building positive working relationships with customers to ensure open and honest communication is maintained.
· Liaising across functions to ensure that all orders are scheduled and despatched to the agreed timescales.
· Maintain all customer files, both within Sage and the hard copy filing system.
· General office administration duties as required.
You will need to be an ambassador of the business and be customer-focussed with exceptional communication skills. You will have a high attention to detail and be a keen problem-solver. You will need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of using an ERP system would also be a distinct advantage, though this is not essential.

We have occupied the current site in Hull since 1907 and we now have 3 bread plants in our main bakery. We recently developed a second bakery, also at our site in Hull, which specialises in premium quality roll, wrap and ciabatta production.
We specialise in the supply of bread and other carriers to the sandwich manufacturers, foodservice and export channels, and in 2012 we launched our consumer facing brand “Jackson’s Yorkshire’s Champion”.
We’ve recently built a brand-new site in Corby, Northamptonshire – one of the largest investments our Group has ever made – and this will allow us to realise our ambition of being the best at what we do.
